Malaysia Jiwa Volunteer Coaching Workshop

  • This workshop aims to identify the principles of andragogy and adult education, differentiate the characteristics and attitudes of trainers and trainees, assess effective and ineffective public speaking methods, and apply appropriate teaching techniques in training sessions.
  • The workshop will be conducted through lectures, group exercises, video/audio presentations, and quizzes.

Anti-Sexual Harassment Coaching

  • This workshop aims to identify the principles of andragogy and adult education, discuss the role of trainers, characteristics of effective trainers, training principles and techniques, effective delivery, training evaluation (knowledge), and apply teaching methods in training sessions.
  • The workshop methods include lectures, group exercises, video/audio presentations, quizzes, and presentations.

Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work (DPSKS)

  • The Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work (DPSKS) is a collaborative program between the Malaysian Social Institute (ISM) and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSK) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), initiated in 2015 and recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
  • This program aims to produce graduates who are well-versed in social work knowledge, possess critical thinking skills, and demonstrate research abilities, enabling them to effectively apply these competencies in their professional careers.

Malaysian Sign Language (BIM) Level 2

  • This course is an advanced continuation of the Malaysian Sign Language (BIM) Level 1 Basic Course. Participants will be equipped with advanced skills in Malaysian Sign Language (BIM) to communicate with and support persons with hearing disabilities (OKU Pendengaran) while fostering an inclusive social environment and community.
  • The course methods include lectures, tutorials, group coursework, and quizzes.

Psychological First Aid (PFA) Course for Volunteers

  • This course aims to equip participants with an understanding of crises/disasters and their psychological impact on victims, the principles and application of Psychological First Aid (PFA) to assist those in crisis, and self-care practices while helping others.
  • The course methods include lectures, group exercises, video presentations, group discussions, practical exercises, and simulations.
